Sustaining Places

I signed up for Museweekly after the email that Chris sent out, and the most recent email had a link to the Sustaining Places website. This is a great resource for small museums and historic sites. Their purpose is “to collect examples of good ideas and best practices for small historical organizations. We are always adding new resources to our annotated bibliographies, as well as producing and posting new project videos and two-minute techniques.” I thought this was an interesting website to post as we are reading about grants and funding, because they have a lot of great resources for finance and development. This is definitely a good website to know about and look over as we prepare for and in the future start new jobs hopefully in the museum world.
